LoGOz Lionheart FM Alnwick 12 12 14

Friday night saw LoGOz travel north to the home of Lionheart FM Radio, which is in the historic town of Alnwick. It was bloody freezing in the town, famous as being the home of Hogwarts, but by the time everyone had climbed 3 flights of stairs, to Chaz Ellis’ studio, with full stage kit, jackets and jumpers were removed and sweat was emitted.

This was the lads’ second appearance on Chaz’s SCHOOLS OUT early evening, weekly slot, Peesh and Paul having played an acoustic session back in September. Tonight was different as the whole band were playing a live, on the radio, fully plugged in session for the first time ever.

So after having rearranged the studio and it’s adjoining rooms, the lads blasted through a sound check and onto the show proper with an update interview and 3 live unregulated tracks including a festive offering of John Lennon’s Merry Xmas (War is Over) having its first ever airing.

Tonight was a wide angle affair as conditions were cramped and a high ISO high grain situation too, as there was plenty of movement but not plenty of light.

As ever if anyone would like to see more images from this evening or indeed have a copy or use any of the images just contact me at clemmyscotswood@gmail.com

South Shields Food Fest

Festival time again, whether large or small, great time of year, great place to start; South Shields!
Aye, the South Shields Food Festival.
Tony Guerilla had a music stage on there today and two thirds of LoGOz (guitar men Peesh and Paul) closed the day with a tasty wee set, their first acoustic live one ever I believe!
The rain held off and the sounds went down well… like the food…
Here’s a few shots of the lads in action.

LoGOz. The Barrels Alehouse, Berwick 9 May 2014

Friday evening, this weekend (9th May), was spent at the world famous Barrels Alehouse in Berwick Upon Tweed, in one of the most intimate yet exciting venues going. A small but appreciative crowd turned out to see LoGOz first appearance in the town.

The show was special for more than that as it was a double setter, the first being a performance of the album ‘Psycho Radio’ in its entirety and the second set comprising of recently released single ‘Hello Lonely’ and tracks for the forthcoming summer ep and second album tentatively titled ‘Tropical Apocalypse’.

This was one of those rare occasions where I resorted to using flash. If anyone has ever been downstairs in The Barrels they will know why!

A great evening was had by all and hospitality from Jaki and her staff was tremendous!!
